Application:

Machine is suitable for following jobs:-

• For removing awns in barley seeds, dill seeds, celery seeds etc.
• For clipping of oats.
• For dehusking of wheat glumes.
• For decorticating of sugar beet seeds.
• For de-whisking of carrot seeds.
• For declustering of tomato seeds, grass seeds etc.
• For breaking of alfalfa pods.
• For polishing and removing mold from pepper balls, coffee beans etc.
• For hulling white caps in clover seeds.

The machine is very versatile as many other seeds can be conditioned by rubbing, polishing, de-awning, dehulling etc. Deawner/Debearder should be used before size grading or even before pre-cleaning operation so that flowability of the grains is increased by removing tips, awns, glumes etc.
Machine consists of a low speed rotating cylinder with multiple steel beater arms, rasp bars and a concave made of heavy gauge wire mesh. The beater arms are fitted at an angle which serves to rub the commodity as well as to convey it through the machine. The distance between cancave and rotating beater arms is adjustable in a wide range to suit to different functions. The rotational speed of the cylinder is also adjustable in a wide range by means of variable speed drive to suit to different crops.
