Model of  SORTING & GRADING LINE FOR POTATO (2500-3000 KGS/HR)

Capacities: 1-1.5 tph, 2.5-3 tph, 4-4.5tph

The frame of the machine will be fabricated in M.S and all other contact parts will be in food grade material. Rollers will be made up of PVC i.e. of food grade material. Feeding will have to be done manually. The potatoes will be let onto the rollers. Rollers will carry the potatoes forward and will dump into the sorting table. In the sorting table rollers will move on their own axis & will move forward. Workers (generally 2 workers on both sides) standing around the machine will sort out the rotten, damaged or oblong shaped potatoes from the sorting table and will take that out of it. Diverters will be provided in the sorting table along its length. Workers will sort out the round potatoes as well as the oblong shaped potatoes and will arrange them in two different lanes of the sorting table. As the round and oblong shaped potatoes will go in two different graders and will be graded out separately.

This machine is fitted with soft nylon bristle rollers rotating on their own axis. The gap between the two consecutive rollers grades the potatoes on the basis of their diameter. The rollers are arranged in such a way that the gap between them increases gradually. Two outlets are provided for a single grade of potatoes. The graded potatoes are discharged form suitably designed spouts and collected in plastic crates. (Crates will not be supplied by us). This machine performs perfectly for round or near about round shaped potatoes. The grading of oblong shaped potatoes may not be proper as in case of oblong shaped potatoes, the diameter and the length is not similar. Round and oblong shaped potatoes will be graded in different graders. The position of the rollers as well as the spouts can be altered as per the size of the potatoes to be graded. Some unique features of this machine are that the rollers acts as a cleaning agent for the potatoes, it brushes away the soil particles adhered to the surface of the potatoes.

The control panel helps in proper electrical synchronization and control of all the machines from a single place. All the machines can be make On or Off from a single place by a single person. There is no need for individual motor starter and main switch to be fitted on each machine.
